OKIES’ Vision

Our vision is for OKIES to be a respected umbrella organization for independent-minded candidates that expands voter choice by reducing the number of unopposed races for elected office in Oklahoma and engages more potential voters in the political process.

 

OKIES’ Mission

OKIES' mission is to recruit independent-minded candidates and support policies that give Oklahoma voters more say in state and local government.


 

OKIES Issues

1)   Ballot Access Reform  

2)   Redistricting Reform (with Independent Commissions)

3)   Non-partisan county races (SB 38, SB 373, SB 658) 

      or open primary if only one party runs (HB 2686)

4)      Eliminate straight ticket voting

5)      Same-day Voter Registration

6)      Fully-Informed Voters (Inform Voters on elections)

7)      Show Unopposed Races on Ballots
